Welcome FSU is a series of events and programs that serve as the official welcome for all Florida State students as they arrive on campus at the start of each semester.

In years past, the festivities have typically ended after the first week of classes. Like with many things in the last year, COVID-19 encouraged the university to make adjustments to tradition. The schedule of Welcome FSU programs was extended to occupy a period of three weeks in an effort to provide activities for students during a longer-than-usual move-in window.

Three weeks of activities meant the creation of three sets of matching marketing materials, with a new color scheme for each.

COVID-19 also meant that all activities that weren’t virtual were happening outside. The central event was Experience FSU – a self-guided tour through campus with activity stations scattered around. A hand-drawn map was created for the occasion.
